Lots of Exciting Jackpots at Lottoland
Best Lotteries of the World

Due to legislation coming into effect in 2019, we can no longer offer lottery betting and as such some content may no longer be relevant.
The Best Lotteries of the World to Bet on at Lottoland
In case there was ever any doubt that Lottoland is the leading lottery betting provider, here are the top overseas lotteries for Australian players.
Mega Sena – From Brazil
Brazil's biggest national lottery has generated lots of press last year due to its massive rolling jackpot which was finally won on Sunday the 14th of June 2015. And I'm sure whoever won it is still dancing the Samba.
Mega Sena is something of a cultural phenomenon in its native Brazil. It costs just $2.50 to play and has record jackpots of approx. $47 million for regular draws and $92 million for its annual superdraw the Mega Da Virada.
To bet just pick numbers from 1 to 60 as you try to win from one of three prize divisions. The odds of hitting the jackpot are 1 : 50,063,860, which are quite high, but then generally so are the jackpots.

Lotto – From Sweden
Looking for a cheap and simple lotto where you can win big jackpots? Or are you instead looking for a more nuanced game that gives you great odds and lots of different chances to win prizes?
Either way then the Swedish Lotto is the game for you.
Draws are held twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays in Europe. There's a regular draw and then, straight after, a second Lotto 2 draw. The Swedish Lotto also has an added bonus game, the Drömvinsten, or "dream win", which you can also chose to play to maximise your chances of winning a cash prize. So overall the Swedish Lotto gives you get three chances to win big.
A simple game costs just $1.50 or, with the Lotto2 game added (the default option), $3. The extra "dream win" game costs a minimum of $1, which is also added by default. We do this because it's how the game in Sweden is played. If we didn't do this our Swedish players would look at us funny - and Dolph Lundgren would get angry.
Unlike in Sweden, however, we give you the full freedom to choose which aspects of the game you wish to enable or disable. You can even up the ante on the bonus game to $3.00.
The Swedish Lotto is a 6/45 game with 5 prize divisions. The jackpot odds are 1: 6,724,520, which is fairly good odds for a lottery. Overall you have a 1 : 55 chance of winning any prize – but of course these odds get better if you add the extra draw and bonus game to your bets.
So, whichever way you want to go, cheap and cheerful, lucrative and elaborate, or anywhere in between, you'll find plenty to cheer about with the Swedish Lottery.
6 / 45 – From Austria
The Austrian Lotto (6 aus 45) is a very simple lottery game with a low price and good odds. To play just pick six numbers out of a range of one to 45 – simple!
The jackpot odds are 1 : 8,145,060, highly favourable for a lottery. There's also a special bonus number, which is drawn after the main six numbers.
The Austrian Lotto also has added games giving you more chances to win. The special Joker game corresponds to a second draw. To win you must get all the numbers drawn in the correct sequence.
It costs just $2 for a basic game and $4 for a basic game plus the Joker, which is the default option when betting at the 6/45 lottery at Lottoland. You can opt to disable the Joker game if you so wish, or you can enable up to two extra sets of Joker numbers to maximise your chances of winning.
The Austrian Lotto has eight prize divisions; simply guess the bonus ball number to win the lowest prize division, which will refund you the base ticket price. The odds of this are 1 : 16, meaning you have a one in 16 chance of breaking even when you play, and one in 12 chance of winning any prize.
Overall this is a pleasant and highly affordable game that's also very easy to play and one of our easiest lotteries to win.
Lotto – From Poland
Another big winner in price terms, the Polish Lotto costs just $1.25 per game and, for that price, you could become a millionaire many times over.
The Polish Lotto isn't just cheap, it's also very easy to play. Just pick six numbers from one to 49. Pay an extra $0.50 and you can also bet on the Lotto Plus draw. That makes the cost $1.75 total for two chances to win big.
The minimum jackpot is 2 million Polish Zloty, which, at the time of writing comes to around $680,000. The highest jackpot was 56 million zloty, approximately $18.9 million.
There is no maximum jackpot and therefore it can rise and rollover indefinitely if not won. The odds of winning are 1 : 13,983,815 and altogether there are four prize divisions.
If you are a Polish national living here no doubt you are already aware of how great this lottery is. So you will be delighted to hear that you can now bet on the Polish Lotto from Australia at Lottoland.
Win Millions From as Low as $1.25 – Bet on the Polish Lotto
Mini Lotto – From Poland
Another Polish favourite (and even cheaper still!) the Polish Mini Lotto is a highly popular game both in Poland and throughout other Lottoland markets due to its exceptionally low price. At just $0.50 per game it's Lottoland's cheapest lottery. Indeed I challenge you to try and remember the last time you paid just $0.50 for anything, if you can do it's probably a few decades at least. And I'll bet it sure wasn't something that could help you win $100,000!
To play just pick five numbers between one and 42 for your chance to win from one of three prize divisions. Match all five to win jackpots of up to $100,000.
The low price isn't the only reason for the popularity of the Polish Mini Lotto, the odds of winning the jackpot are also exceptionally low compared to other lotteries at just 1 : 850,668.
Best of all the draw is held every day of the week. So you can bet on the Polish Mini Lotto from Monday right through to Sunday for $3.50 a week!
Loto – From France
It's time for a little of what the French call joie de vivre with the French Lotto. Just pick five numbers from a range of 1 to 49 and a lucky (bonus) number from a range of 1 to 10.
There's a minimum of €2 million (approx. $2.9 million) to be won and three weekly draws each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evening in France.
Each time the jackpot rolls over it's increased by €1 million (approx. $1.45 million), potentially allowing it to grow by €3 (approx. $4.45) million a week until it hits the max cap of €36 (approx. $45) million.
The French Lotto costs just $3 to bet on and offers a one in 16 chance of winning any prize. The jackpot odds, meanwhile, are 1 : 19,068,840, which is quite good for a major national lottery of this size and scale.
SuperEnalotto – From Italy
Now here's a lotto with some serious chest hair!
SuperEnalotto is the world's largest national lottery responsible for some of the largest lottery jackpots in the world. The record so far is the 2010 jackpot of €177 million (approx. $265 million), placing SuperEnalotto up there with titans EuroMillions, MegaMillions and US Power.
Draws are held each Thursday and Saturday at 8pm in Italy. To play select six numbers from a pool of 1 to 90 inclusive. That's quite a lot of numbers, to be sure, and as a result the odds are much higher than other lotteries, at 1 : 622.6 million.
Still, this does allow the jackpots to grow quite large quite quickly following regular rollovers. And, at just $3 per game for your chance to win some of the world's largest jackpots it is, to quote another famous Italian export, "an offer you can't refuse!"
The other advantage of this lottery is that the there are many other ways to win too. There are five prize divisions in total and the second division regularly eclipses many other nations' national lottery jackpots.
El Gordo De La Primitiva – From Spain
El Gordo – you've heard the name, now play the game!
The Spanish Lotto, El Gordo De La Primitiva, is Spain's most popular lotto. Draws are held every Sunday in Madrid at 9.30pm.
To play simply pick five regular numbers from a range of 1 to 54 inclusive plus the bonus SuperBall from a range of 0 to 9 inclusive.
It costs just $2.50 to bet and if you manage to just get the SuperBall right you'll win back the price of your game. Only the Spanish Lotto gives you that 1 in 10 chance of winning your money back. Not that this should be your primary focus, of course.
The Spanish Lotto offers a minimum jackpot of a guaranteed €5 million (approx. $7.4 million) though this value generally rises much higher. The odds of hitting the jackpot are 1 : 31.625.100. There are also eight other prize divisions making nine in total.
Wondering what El Gordo means? Literally it translates as "The Fat One" and, in the context of lotteries, refers to the jackpot. With the launch of El Gordo De La Primitiva, Lottoland now brings you all three of Spain's famous El Gordo lotteries. In addition to El Gordo De La Primitiva, the Spanish Lotto, you can also play Spain's massive raffle lotteries. Most famous of all we have the world's biggest lottery, The Spanish Christmas Lottery and it's sibling the Spanish Summer Lottery, both huge annual events in Spain.
